No 44 - Innis & Gunn Oak Aged Beer

A musky, creamy nose with sweet yellow fruit, almonds and a smoky wood note. After a while a distinct coconut aroma appears that I don´t like. Thick and creamy but a tad too sweet.
The taste is big and sweet with lots of vanilla oak flavoured fruit. A long, nice finish with a small alcohol burn in the finish, although it´s only 6,6%. A little clumsy. An ok beer but nothing more.

82p   (tasted from bottle - 2010/11)
