X39 - Boddingtons Pub Ale (England)

This ale you could find almost everywhere, but that is not necesserily a good thing...
The nose is creamy and light with notes of dried fruits, a hint of fudge and some road dust. Superficial. It´s nothing tecnically wrong with it but its dull, dull, dull..
The taste is soft, light and creamy with notes of fudge, orange peel and a touch of summer flowers. The taste is better than the nose, but the lasting impression is still that of a pure but simple and boring beer.

72p   (tasted from cask - 2011/01)
