Another winner from St. Bernardus! The nose just oozes out of the glas with beautiful notes of sweet oranges, dark cookie dough, warm spices and hay. Very, very deep. After a while a lot of coconut aromas evolves. Very, very good.
The taste is deep, complex and tight with sweet dark fruit and notes of fudge, candied orange peels, assorted nuts and wet earth. Very long and intense finish. A lovely bitterness ends the taste. A gorgeous beer but it doesn´t reach the height of the Tripel from this brewery - but this is a star all the same!
