No 129 - Aventinus Weizen-Eisbock (Germany)

A deep, creamy, fiery nose with notes of sweet plums, wet earth, banana and some smoke. But the alcohol keeps peeping through the fruit, especially when it gets a little warmer.
The taste is big and brawny with masses of sweet plums, honey and banana. The alcohol is much more subdued in the taste. Very long and warm. Massive. An interesting beer, but a tad too big for its own good.
