No 122 - Huber Weisses Original (Germany)

This long-etasblished german Weissbier (first brewed in the end of the 19th century) opens with very flowery nose - it smells like a summer meadow. Then notes of lime, lemon and fennel can be detected. Very fresh and fine.
The taste is fresh, light on its feet, but with fine fruit, some dried flowers and a medium long, refreshing finish. The carbon oxide level is lower on this one compared to others, but that is not a draw back in my opion. Very good.

87p   (tasted from bottle - 2011/06)
