X4 - Maredsous 6 Blonde

The nose is sweet, soft and good with lots of sweet yellow fruit, a touch of white raisins and bananas. Deep and good. It has a core of very nice, soft, round fruit.
The taste is fine and even elegant with the same yellow fruit as on the nose. A long, nice finish with good bitterness. Ends very dry. Very, very good.

No 24 - Brother Thelonius

The nose is very deep and has a lot of dark sweet fruit paired with some strange notes of rubber. A raisiny touch. The alcohol (9,3%) is noticable. Some notes of burned almonds and toffee. It has complexity but it is not good in a hedonistic sense.
The taste is very big and broad with lots of sweet licorice, ripe plums and chocolate. The finish is very long but the alcohol overpowers the fruit in the end. Good but not great.

No 23 - Trappistes Rochefort 10

A big, deep, creamy nose with notes of dark chocolate, cream, licorice and asphalt. Nice depth and intensity. A very creamy, yummy nose. Great beer!
The taste is as creamy as the nose suggest - a chocolate drink with whipped cream! The finish is long and impressive with a nice alcohol warmth in the end. Very, very good.

No 22 - Oud Beersel Oude Geuze

A big, expressive, nice nose with lots of sour lemoncello, some cat pee and yesty notes. Some smoky notes after a while. Deep.
The taste is fresh and tight with nice lemon peel notes and good acidity. Long, dry finish. This is a very good Geuze but somehow it doesn´t rock my world.

No 21 - Wells Bombardier

This has a good, deep, fresh nose wiyt notes of cinnamon cake, chocolate covered orange peels and a nice flowery note. Very good. A nice malty sweetness as well.
The taste is fine and fruity with lots of sweet hops and a very nice bitterness. Long and very savoury. Just a great english ale!
