No 117 - Old Tom Strong Ale (England)

A deep, tight, concentrated nose with notes of damp earth, soap, ripe black cherrys, pickled ginger and banana. Very complex, deep and sweet. Very, very good.
The taste is big and with broad shoulders, with notes of dark chocolate, ripe banana, muscovado sugar and a touch of ginger. The alcochol warmth (8,5%) makes the finish long, intense and powerful. This is good!

X71 - Brooklyn Summer Ale (USA)

The nose is open, fine and hoppy with notes of white peaches, elder berrys, lemon ans summer flowers. A little in the light side, but nice. Fresh.
The taste is pure and light but somewhat indistinct. It ends quickly with a light bitterness. The nice fruit from the nose isn´t there. The nose is fine but the taste is a letdown.
