No 42 - Great Divide Hibernation Ale
A big, full bodied, warm nose with notes of sugary coffee, some lovely smoky notes and dark fudge. Very deep and complex. Feels just lovely to sit and put my nose deep in the glas.On my way on a business trip I wanted something to read - and found a heavy book - "1001 Beers you must try before you die". An eye catching title and while browsing through it on the train I decided that I should do just that - try every beer in the book. This is my way of doing it...:-)

The nose is fresh and somewhat acid with notes of tangerine, coriander, warm grass/hay and that usual english urinal scent.....:-) Still nice in its own way.
Aaaaaaah, this one smells of summer, right here in this cold November! Deep and elegant with notes of hay, lemons, glue, white peppars and that gorgeous summery feeling. Very good and very deep!
I usually think that Nils Oscar holds a steady high quality - not at par with that of Nynäshamn or Dugge - but solid good. But this one doesn´t meet their regular standards.
