No 42 - Great Divide Hibernation Ale

A big, full bodied, warm nose with notes of sugary coffee, some lovely smoky notes and dark fudge. Very deep and complex. Feels just lovely to sit and put my nose deep in the glas.
The taste is very big, intense and concentrated with lovely notes of dark fudge, coffee and some smoky notes. Very long, powerful finish with a great warm feeling. Just a stunning beer!

No 41 - Liefmans Cuvée-Brut

This has a big sour cherry nose with notes of almonds, glue and red cherry jam. With air some detergent on the nose appears. Good.
The taste is initally fresh and very good with nice cherry fruit and a nice bitterness. But then the sweetness push forward and dominate the flavour. A nice finish. Very good but the sweetness is, at times, a little too much.

No 40 - Adnams The Bitter

The nose is fresh and somewhat acid with notes of tangerine, coriander, warm grass/hay and that usual english urinal scent.....:-) Still nice in its own way.
The taste is fresh and acid with some lemon, tangerine and a nice bitterness. It is nice but it is rather thin in the middle flavour. It is ok but not much more.

X11 - La Trappe Witte Trappist

Aaaaaaah, this one smells of summer, right here in this cold November! Deep and elegant with notes of hay, lemons, glue, white peppars and that gorgeous summery feeling. Very good and very deep!
The taste is fine and creamy with sweet white fruit and long finish with nice bitterness and notes of white peppars and lime. Very easy to drink, just wished it was summer and it would have been even more enjoyable!

X10 - Nils Oscar Brown Ale

I usually think that Nils Oscar holds a steady high quality - not at par with that of Nynäshamn or Dugge - but solid good. But this one doesn´t meet their regular standards.
The nose is medium deep and somewhat fleeting with notes of chocolate candy bears, some burnt honey and a touch of detergent. Not faulty but not good.
The taste is cool and a little foursquare with some notes of dry chocolate, orange peel and with a nice bitterness in the finish. Some burned notes in the finish. The taste is a little bit better than the nose but this one I won´t buy again.
