No 54 - De Koninck Amber
A fine, although somewhat light nose with notes of dark fudge, hay and sweet malt. Medium deep. Nice and friendly, but maybe a little too nice?On my way on a business trip I wanted something to read - and found a heavy book - "1001 Beers you must try before you die". An eye catching title and while browsing through it on the train I decided that I should do just that - try every beer in the book. This is my way of doing it...:-)

A great favourite of mine for those long, cold winter nights This is vintage 2009 and it is as good as ever!
A nice, dark nose with some christmas spices, smoky notes and notes of cocoa, orange peel, cream and resin. Nice but it doesn´t stand out in a the crowd of winter warmers.
