No 99 - Greene King Abbot Ale (England)

There have been lots of cans lately, for some reason - ah well, this was another - and a really good one at that!
The nose is on the dark side for a english ale with, lovely notes of sweet dark malt, dark fudge, chocolate mousse and that captivating touch of a wet carpet...:-) Very, very good. Lots of interests here.
The taste is fine, dark fruity and deep with a great bitterness and notes of dried orange peels, semi mature banana and some undergrowth. Long and very good. Very stylish.

No 98 - Pedigree Premium English Ale (England)

A soft, creamy, nice nose with notes of soft butter fudge, biscuits, orange marmelade and warm grass. An interesting, nice nose but not that deep.
The taste is velvety and nice with notes of chocolate covered orange peels, sweet lemons and that of a warm dust road. Creamy and nice. Not that complex but very yummy!
