Yeeeeeessss! This is an awesome beer! The nose just oozes up from the glas with notes of freshly pressed limejuice, white chocolate, fresh sweet herbs and a fine gravelly note. Very deep, very complex and utterly captivating!
The taste is fresh as a daisy with racy freshness and sweet yellow fruit paired with notes of lavender, lime, grass and herbs. A very long, elegant finish. Breathtakingly beautiful!

X16 - Shepherd Neame Christmas Ale
A warm, spicy nose with notes of fudge, pickled orange peel and some dark bread. Not that deep but has a very attractive flavour profile.
The taste is fine, fresh and medium bodied with notes of fudge, oranges and sweet malt. Long and very good without being overly complex. I like this one!
90p (tasted from bottle - 2010/12)
X15 - Corsendonk Christmas Ale
A deep, creamy, fine nose with notes of cocoa, saffron, tar, asphalt and cooked cream. Very deep and yummy! Lovely sweetness. Beautiful!
The taste is big, creamy and deep with lots of chocolate, coffee, some saffron and asphalt. Long, warm and delicious! This is stunningly good! Despite the alcohol ( ), very easy to gulp down...
No 47 - 3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek
A deep, darkly sweet, very intriguing nose with notes of rasberry jam scented with balsamic vinegar and muscovadosugar. Very deep and complex. Just a lovely Kriek!
The taste is tight, fine and elegant with a lovely acidity och sweet cherry flavour. A very long finish that ends with a lovely dry twist. Very, very good.

No 45-46 - Panil Barriquée Sour & Panil Enhanced
I was exited when I bought these two Italian handcrafted beers, and was looking forward to try them together. I now wish I haven´t opened them and instead used them as decoration...
Panil Barriquée Sour
A big, tight, very sour nose with notes of sour milk, sour cherrys, yoghurt and dry wood. Very much of that dry wood note, like unfresh oakchips. And that underlying sour nose of everything - no thanks!
63p (tasted from bottle - 2010/11)
Panil Enhanced
A rather fresh, flowery nose with some lemon, ginger and a touch of wood. This is a little Champagne like on the nose. Deep. A very creamy nose. Good.
But the taste doesn´t follow true I´m afraid - a very bitter, narrow taste with notes of ginger, lemon and vanilla (from new barrels). A touch sparkling. Become more and more woody in the taste with air. This is better than the Barriquée Sour but that is splitting hair.

The taste is big and demanding with lots of sour cherrys, raisins and som wood notes, although not as dry as on the nose. Long, tight and rather complex. The taste is actually ok, you can sit and sip this for a while, but the nose is appaling.
